This piece is the first of a series of paintings exploring the idea of memory. Flashes of moments whose context is lost but their reverberating importance is exaggerated and heightened when we recall lost moments/people/love. When the artist thinks of those moments she indulges and idealises, the memories reverberate and grow into something else.
